In May 2011 many of George AM Bathgate’s decendants met for a family dinner in Dunedin to celebrate the birthdays of Alfred (65) and Lesley (60). A bonus at the dinner was meeting three of the newest arrivals, George & Hazel’s great grandsons Tyler 8 months, Connor 6 months and Zen 4 months . It would have been nice if little Aidan from Port Hedland in Australia, then 14 months, could have been there as well, but we can look forward to a gathering of 4 boys cousins roughly the same age in years to come.
